Dr. Bronner’s 18-1 Hemp Lavender Pure-Castile Soap sampler was a wonderful all around goodie. The soap is highly concentrated so a little goes a long way. I used it during a 8 day trip to Costa Rica and hardly made a dent on it. You only need to use a few drops with some water for a shampoo.
The soap is very gentle and useful as both a body soap and shampoo. It’s strong lavender essence is invigorating – even for a guy. Most important, it leaves your head feeling soft and refreshed.
It is an all natural vegan product – i.e. made from water and coconut, olive and hemp oils, that is probably why it is so gentle.
The name Dr. Bronner’s 18-1 Hemp Lavender Pure-Castile Soap is a reference to the 18 uses for the soap, including shampoo, dishwashing, shaving, laundry detergent and every day body-washing.
From now on Dr. Bronner’s 18-1 Hemp Pure-Castile Soap will be in my travel bag as a replacement for those little hotel soaps and shampoos. Once the Lavender is finished (a year from now), I plan to try the Peppermint variety.
