Choice Organic Tea sent me a package of goodies last week. It included 8 single packages of fair trade certified organic tea, 5 single packages of organic tea, 4 double packages of organic tea, and paperwork describing their tea flavors as well as their commitment to organic and Fair Trade teas.
This package did not include a personally addressed letter. For this type of request, I see the largest cost to the manufacturers to be the time it takes an employee to respond. Because of that cost, I plan to mention in a future post all of the firms who took the time to write me letters to say that they have nothing to give or chose to participate.
One of my first Goodiesblog.com posts was a short review of Choice Organic Tea – Mango Ceylon With Vanilla. It is good to see that a company whose products I’ve already featured was still interested in sharing their goodies with me.
This package of goodies is exciting because it will give me a lot of content to share with you. I’m looking forward to reviewing the Yerba Mate and Moroccan Mint Green Tea to start with. However, not only do I get to share my evaluations of some tea, but I also get to share the benefits of purchasing Fair Trade products.
The schedule for this bunch of goodies reviews will feature a full post early next week regarding one Fair Trade tea and a little be about Fair Trade and why you should look for that label. After that, every once and a while I will review a few teas at a time with short evaluations.
