Here is an old internet goodie which unfortunately is no longer available, Little Penguin wine charms. The small charms feature a cute little penguin on top of a label featuring the name of one of each of the four Little Penguin wines, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot. Clearly, these charms were custom made.

We received the charms when we signed up for the now defunct Winebrats.org email list. We used to be involved with the Winebrats.org’s DC chapter. The chapter was closed down before Little Penguin became a sponsor so we have not yet tried the wine.

Since I have not tried the wine, I can not recommend it. My wife, who has tried the Merlot, says it’s an average wine, but a good buy for under $10. If you ever have the opportunity to get the wine charms, be it via an email offer or on a bottle of wine, jump on it, because they are a fun goodie.
