Today, my wife called me all excited because a box of goodies arrived via UPS next day air from Old Orchard Brands LLC! Enclosed was a short letter describing the new Old Orchard Organics Juice line, two Old Orchard six-pack cooler bags, nine paper cups, one bottle of Old Orchard Organics Red Raspberry 100% (juice) and one bottle of Old Orchard Organics 100% Concord Grape.

The letter describes their juices, product lines, and a new line of 100% Organic Juices – Organics – which will arrive in stores soon. The juices sound good and I’m always happy to see another firm starting to produce Organic products.

Over the next few days, I will rate the goodies individually, this will give me time to drink, test , and evaluate them.

Until then, let me explain the significance of Old Orchard’s package. It verifies that the idea for the blog has some value to both the companies contacted and myself.

Old Orchard gets to expose it’s new product to a varied audience right before it hits the store shelves. You are reading about it with interest because you want to see what I got – that has to leave an impression of the product! Where else could they have shared this information – did you happen to read about the new Organics juice line in PR Newswire, GlassTalk, or Natural Newswire?

From my side, I now have two types of high quality juice to try, along with some six pack coolers to take to summer events (like wine festivals or picnics) and even more sharing the goodies with the public.

  4. A lot of the reviewers at Epinions.com (back in the day, circa ‘00) would contact an array of companies for products to review on the site. You’d be surprised how willing companies are to send out samples. Some users even got free trips!
